Chama membership FAQs

When does my Chama start?
New Chama cohorts launch on a rolling basis. After checkout you’re placed in the next open Chama in your region, or you can be matched with Ambassadors launching a cohort from your campus, SACCO, or community group.
Which payment methods are supported in my country?
Phase 1 markets are Kenya (M-Pesa + KES), Nigeria (Flutterwave / Paystack + NGN), Ghana (GHS) and Uganda (MTN MoMo / Airtel + UGX). We add markets as our Ambassador network expands.
Can I switch Chama tiers later?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately at your next login; downgrades apply at the start of your next billing cycle so you don’t disrupt the current cohort.
What is your refund policy?
